Yesterday was National Chocolate Chip Day so I decided to do a spin on the classic chocolate chip cookie. Two cups of crushed potato chips and a pint of ice cream later I had homemade ice cream sandwiches that combined salty sweet and crunch gooey goodness all into one. Went downtown this weekend with this lovely lady for a change of scenery. I love downtown LA and miss being there {I used to work downtown}, but rarely find myself wanting to make the drive to go back. I am turning over a new leaf though and plan to not be the West LA girl who never leaves West LA. May is not too late for a new year resolution is it?

People that make you laugh are the best. Just a lovely dinner at the Marina with my favorite co-workers who keep my going 40+ hours a week.
Sometimes I think the best part of living in Southern California is not having to wear pants most of the year. The ease of a maxi skirt (especially on a beach day) cannot be challenged in my mind.
