Kale Carrot Orange Juice

I hate to have to admit this, but despite all my juicing and yoga in attempt to lead a more healthy lifestyle I have gotten sick again. I justify this as my body still detoxifying because there is no way I am giving up my new routine just yet. Surprisingly enough while laying in my bed all weekend I learned a thing or two about what I have been doing wrong to cure myself my whole life. While Vitamin C is what we all think for curing a cold, drinking straight orange juice only adds to swollen glands and the ever uncomfortable soar throat. Kale however, is also rich in Vitamin C and does not seem to be doing any damage. I chose to mix it with carrots and a little orange for flavor and find that my throat is not as irritated by the mixture. Lastly, I have also found the high content of Vitamin A from these ingredients will give my skin a boost from its weekend locked in doors.

I will definitely be including Kale into my weekly routine so that I can avoid any more sickness {at least until next winter}.
